April 5th brought rain—a lot of it. Like, torrential downpour and flooding kind of rain. But somehow, Alyssa and Samuel’s wedding day at Sweet Magnolia Weddings and Events was still one of the most beautiful and joy-filled days I’ve ever captured.

From the moment I walked into the bright white venue, it was clear that the weather wasn’t going to dampen anyone’s spirits. Candles flickered softly throughout the space, casting a warm glow that made the whole day feel cozy and intimate. Friends and family filled the room with laughter, love, and so much support for this incredible couple.

Alyssa was radiant—her joyful spirit never faded, even as the rain poured outside. Samuel looked at her like she was the only person in the room (because to him, she probably was). They embraced the change of plans of the day with grace and heart.

The storm may have changed the original plans, but honestly? The photos we captured indoors are filled with such emotion and magic, I wouldn’t change a thing. There’s something special about a couple who can laugh through the storm—literally—and still have the best day ever.
