Sydney & Colton | A Romantic Summer Wedding at Woodbury Falls in Danville, IL

June 7th, 2025 will always be a special date in my heart because Sydney and Colton’s wedding day at Woodbury Falls in Danville, Illinois was an absolute dream from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the love—not just between the couple, but from their families and bridal party too. Everyone was warm, helpful, and completely ready to make this day incredible for the two people at the center of it all.

Despite a week full of unpredictable weather forecasts, the rain miraculously held off! We were gifted with beautifully overcast skies that made for perfect lighting conditions—a photographer’s dream for an outdoor ceremony! Every detail of the day came together flawlessly, from the soft light blue bridesmaid dresses that added the perfect pop of color, to the beautiful backdrop of Woodbury Falls… everything felt effortless and elegant.

Sydney looked absolutely radiant in her gown, and the way Colton looked at her said it all. These two are as sweet as they come—laid back, kind, and so clearly meant for each other. Watching them laugh together, exchange vows in front of the waterfall, and dance under twinkling lights with their guests was pure joy.

Their lemon wedding cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes was a perfect personal touch. Dinner was catered by Yoder’s in Arthur, IL, and was just as delicious and comforting as you’d expect from one of the area’s best. And their DJ, Jason Wheatley from right here in St. Joseph, Illinois, kept the dance floor alive all evening long with the perfect mix of fun and heartfelt moments.

If I had to sum up this day in a few words? Joyful, heartfelt, and filled with love.
