Weddings

Located just about a mile outside of Urbana Illinois, Hudson Farm is a wedding venue that provides the perfect rustic backdrop for couples who want a charming country vibe for their big day. It offers big open fields (perfect for sunset shots), a tractor, an American flag wall, a vintage barn for the ceremony…and a modern large reception hall with all the amenities is there for the afterparty!

The day started with Lindsey getting ready with her girls in the on-site house that is rented out as part of the wedding package. When I arrived, I began by photographing her details and her stunning lace dress! I love to start wedding days with detail shots because they help me set the tone and theme for the rest of the day.

After details, Lindsey and her girls ran outside to take a couple champagne pop photos before getting dressed! This bridal party was one of the most fun groups…they were so sweet and down for anything!

Then it was time for everyone to get dressed. I took Lindsey outside for a few bridal portraits before we met up with Todd for their first look and private vows.

After their vows, the day moved pretty quick! We went around the farm and did their husband/wife portraits, then the groomsmen shots…then it was already time for the ceremony!

Afterward we did family formals, finished up with the bridesmaids….and then it was time to party!

Their doggies were at the engagement session last fall but had to stay home for the wedding. Lindsey made up for it by having them top her cake and custom koozies though! And the wedding favors were little bags of dog treats with personalized stickers of each of their dogs!
