Seniors

Sami is officially heading into her senior year this fall, and we kicked it off with the dreamiest summer session to celebrate this exciting season! 🌸☀️ She wanted a summer session with flowers, soft golden light, and a location that felt fresh and vibrant—so the Idea Garden at the U of I Arboretum in Urbana was the perfect fit.

We met on one of those classic Midwest summer evenings—hot, a little sticky, but full of sunshine and that golden glow that makes every photo feel like magic. The gardens were in full bloom, bursting with color and texture, and Sami absolutely shined against every backdrop. Whether she was surrounded by wildflowers or framed by tall grasses and winding paths, her joyful, easygoing energy made the whole session feel relaxed and fun.

What I loved most was how Sami showed up as herself—confident, sweet, and totally radiant. She laughed through the heat, danced in the gardens, and embraced the moment (humidity and all!). These are the kinds of sessions I live for—when we can slow down, soak in the beauty of the evening, and document the start of an unforgettable senior year.
